Abstract
This work is a documentary analysis that conducts a comparative study of Computational Thinking and Inquiry and the role Modeling plays in each, proposing new definitions in order to form a conceptual framework that facilitates the development of educational activities and projects in the field of sciences. Given the success of InquiryBased Science Education (IBSE) and the current demand for a more digitally literate society, it is thought necessary to define and understand how they converge and articulate in order to aid in their implementation and coexistence. The findings of this analysis indicate a high affinity and degree of overlap between these three concepts’ abilities to collaborate.
