Abstract

In this paper I approach the theme of the foreigner from the point of view of the exiled. The nucleus of the paper is constituted by the work of some Romanian writers, which due to political factors had to look for other places where they could express themselves in freedom. These have chosen Spain to live and write. Nevertheless they did not forget the values of their country and constantly tried to maintain the relationship with it, even though only through writing, that become the only witness of their sufferings, so it become the only pillar of the divided, broken and fragmental being that it is the exiled.
