Résumé

The proposed PhD Thesis consists of studying and performing improvements in the analysis, management and control, by means of a real implementation, of a stand-alone hybrid system of power generation. This system is a test-bed or prototype of windphotovoltaic hybrid system with hydrogen support, which is grid-off, this is, autonomous. The main objective of the PhD Thesis is to improve the operation and performance of such hybrid system based on the establishment of the working point of the hydrogen generator. An exergetic analysis is performed to determine the exergetic efficiency of the installation. This analysis serves to propose several topics to act over in order to improve the system operation. The core of these improvements is the management of the hydrogen production, this is, the establishment of the working point of the hydrogen generator. A method based on coulomb counting to estimate the state-of-charge of a gelled lead-acid battery is adjusted and validated. Using this value as control parameter joint with other technical and climatic conditions, different strategies are developed and applied with aiming to adapt the electrolyzer operation to the available energy. One of the strategies consists of a controller based on fuzzy logic, which is integrated in the automation and supervisory system. Furthermore, the automation system is configured and validated as an experimental platform which integrates software and hardware aspects. It serves to implement in real time different algorithms to drive the electrolyzer and to perform the energetic management of the hybrid system.
