Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to offer empirical evidence to show the importance of Judges attach to social expert opinion in the judgements entered by different jurisdictions from the year 2000 to 2017. This is done through a methodology based on the analysis of content through the frequencies of the different keyword tags that have a direct relationship with the social expert opinion. Searching for the keyword tags has been conducted using the database gathering jurisprudence (Aranzadi instituciones) resulting in a total of 180 judgements have been exported to SPSS to review. The results of this study confirm the gradual increase that Judges attach to social expert opinion, in particular in civil jurisdiction; in addition to other hypothesis catering to selected independient variables: Autonomous Community where more judgements are located, jurisdiction, and issuer of the social expert opinion.
