Abstract
Currently the exercise of architecture has forgotten its main function: to live. Oculocentrism has meant that buildings are separated from man and nature, to become architectural boasts, promoted by external factors outside the meaning of architecture. This has generated an abandonment of the built heritage, assuming the loss of the identity of the town and its memory. Starting from the architecture of the senses, as a tool to face this problem, we discover the existence of sensory architecture and therefore emotional, we analyze its history and the social changes that generated it to achieve design guidelines. During this investigation, the author intervenes professionally in the drafting of a sensory building project, in which he can analyze how this heritage is currently managed. There is a need to catalog sensory heritage and establish action protocols.
