The new concept of mental disability pleads for the paradigm of the supports, being the main goal the normalization of these persons providing them with the necessary resources. Among the detected needs, the right to a healthy sexual life is observed as a basic pillar for the improvement of their quality of life. In order to accomplish that, it is necessary to adapt the programs of sexual education to the capacities of these persons facilitating the comprehension and learning of these programs. The sample of this investigation was formed by 347 young men, 276 were completing their studies in different educational centers; 34 boys had left the normal educational system and were attending a Center of Labour Insertion and 37 were persons with intellectual disability attending the Andalusian Federation of Persons with Intellectual Disability (FEAPS-Huelva). The results demonstrate the importance of the use of programs of intervention adapted to the characteristics of these persons with intellectual disability.
