Abstract

In this Doctoral Thesis the Romanisations process carried out in the onubense territory, a peripheral area in the Provincia Baetica (south of Iberian Peninsule), is analysed. In addition, its necessary to say that traditionally this epoch was in clear disadvantage with regard to other historical periods, on having been sufficiently valued neither by the researchers nor for the general public. The work treats about Doctrina et Praxis; of Theory and of Practice; of the models that the romanisation will adopt in this territory depending on the diverse natural environments (Tierra Llana, Andévalo and Sierra) and his respective pre-roman cultural substrata. Definitively, its a valuation joint and updated of the archaeological information available up to the moment in the province of Huelva ( about roman cities, the exploitation of the resources, the world of the death and the beliefs ..) and of his relation with the general historical context of the Provincia Baetica.
