Abstract

The object of study of this thesis has centred on the implantation of Rome on the north of the Huelva territory, on the southern zone of Baeturia Celtica called. Arucci/Turobriga�s city was founded in epoch of Augusto by means of one the merger contributio of the preromans nucleuses of Arucci and Turobriga. The city will experience a great development in epoch In July-Claudio, when the forum is constructed between Caligula�s principality and that of Claudio. This constructive activity there will extend up to the reign of the dynasty Flavia, moment in which the thermal baths are constructed. S. the IInd A.D., specially under Trajano and Adriano, it will be the moment of maximum brilliance of the city. Initiated s. The IIIrd A.D. the city will support certain activity until in the middle of century it�s begun to leave, using as quarry for the construction of new rustic villas and the extension as existing others.
