Abstract

In the present study we hypothesized that the severity of symptoms shown by different oaks trees before the dry involve a genetic component and therefore the heritability of tolerance to the pathogen could cause fluctuations in the symptomatology of the disease in different progenies. There has been an increase in the severity of symptoms in plants with increasing dose. It also corroborates the increased severity of symptoms in Q Q ilex that suber ln addition to tolerance variations exist P. cinnamomi between 80 progenies of Q 64 progenies of ilex and Q suber selected from different areas of the southwest península. Differences in symptoms in the root system are significant for both species from establishing an index of regeneration parameters evaluated in thc seedling root. The results suggest a moderate genetic control.
