Abstract

Medication errors are the main cause of errors in healthcare. The information technology (IT) systems and continuous monitor (CCM) play a major role within the systems approach to control such errors. The theoretical grounding for second part: Technology Acceptance Model and Theory of Diffusion of Innovations. As overall results: -IT and CCM hove led to significant process reengineering in the sequential stages of the drug ordering and delivery -Top managers, project managers and software suppliers should hove a positive attitude to reduce the perceive incompatibility -The training programs should include training focuses on reducing perceived risk of EPAMMS and how to handle the system.
