Resum
The limitations of carbon dioxide (CO2) established by the Kyoto Protocol, have forced the companies to include these environmental restrictions to determine the production planning. One of the instruments provided by the Protocol is the emissions trading market, which offers companies the possibility of increasing CO2 emissions assigned by the national allocation plan. This market is used for the purchase and sales of allowances and offers companies a new source of revenue by the sales of their emissions trading that they dont use. This papers aim is to analyse how the production planning is affected by this new situation by applying a linear programming model, adding restrictions on emissions of CO2 to others limitations of the production company.
