Abstract
This paper presents an explanatory model for the entry mode choice to an international market and its implications on the performance of the international strategy in hotel chains, under the dynamic real options theory approach. We examine the applicability of this theory in this field of study, supplemented by contributions from transaction costs and internationalization process theories.
