Resumen

The profile of the Universities of the Third Age students is dramatically changing during recent years. Unsurprisingly, and in parallel with these changes, both the interests of older students and their valuation of the available university educational program are always changing. In this poster data about the demographics, the personal interests and concerns, and the evaluation of the curriculum, are examined in a sample of first year student of the Aula de la Experiencia, the Third Age University Program for seniors of the University of Huelva (Spain). Results show a great level of heterogeneity in the sample, but also reveal that the majority of the students are interested in the university program because of both intellectual- and learning-related reasons, and that they tend to valuate in a very positive way the university curriculum.
