In the following contribution a work of synthesis is exposed on the results that the researches and works developed in Arucci Turobriga's archaeological site, located in San Mamés's Plain (Aroche, Huelva) have emphasized in the last years. In this line there are nu¬merous the contributions that have highlighted the importance of this archaeological site in the context of the from Huelva territory, especially, and of the Betica in general, being formed this one as one of the funda¬mental points of the model of municipal and territorial implantation that Rome will develop from ends of Ist. century B.C. in the zone.
