Abstract

Lázaro and Estebanillo behave like true writers. Not only write the story of his life but all aspects of the editorial enunciation of his books. They are authors and composers of the texts. It does not happen the same with Guzmán or el Buscón, for example, since the empirical author is responsible for writing the paratexts of the edition. The literary career of the rogues is based mainly on the writing of his Vidas, an autobiographical concept where the genre starts. And also in the continuation in parts, being clear the new narrative mode, alternative to the idealist fiction, which they inaugurate. For this reason, brands and enclaves of generic consciousness are very abundant, from their own comments,from real authors or textual mediators.
