El plan general de investigación de la zona arqueológica de HuelvaEl acueducto romano

Abstract

Since the 2016 Research Plan for the Archaeological Zone of Huelva was approved, the knowledge about the archeology of the city of Huelva has been significantly developed. In this Plan, a long research career carne to converge under various projects of the Plan Nacional de 1+D focused specifically on the archeology of the city, the latter being the one dedicated to the study of the Roman Onoba and its port. Specifically, as one of the actions of this Plan, the aqueduct has been an object of its own study, both for its ignorance and for the uniqueness of the work itself. Thus, the activities that have been carried out in the course of the research are collected in these pages, all in an interdisciplinary way, and that forms the bulk of the knowledge that this hydraulic engineering work has, today , in the urban context of this Atlantic port.
