Abstract

We present a proposal for intervention around digital stories as teaching resources aimed at children, and offering many possibilities for the educational context. We start from the premise that it is a tool that favors communication, experiences and adventures of characters that are real and close to students from an early age allowing visual, artistic, digital and literacy initiation skills to be worked on, among others. The current society in which we live welcomes students who belong to the “Google Kids” generation and many of the teachers who live with them in the classrooms are digital migrants. This entails a gap in terms of digital skills and abilities between the two, which some authors call “digital divide”. An educational proposal is presented around the digital story and through a dynamic, cooperative and democratic methodology, guidance is provided to study how this type of story can be created.
