Resumen
Perhaps, the AMD or acid mine drainage is one of the most important reason of fluvial pollution, for this nature, extension and its trouble ol solving. Rivers effects for this type of contamination having special characteristics such as its acidity, high sulfate and heavy metal contens, not only in its water but sediments. According to U. S. Geological Survey and U. S. Environmental Protection Agency in Abandoned Mine Lands Iniciative, we have characterize the AMD problem in Odiel river through an aproximation by river basin.
