Resumen
The digital society of the future needs to urgently define wh at will be the School social function, apart from other traditional topics like «training for life», «transmision of information», «pro vide a cultural legacy»... This urgency is also extended to the endemic problems that education has over the decades as a public service and that is associated to the blot of poverty in the called world-market. The author of this contribution proposes a critical and reflective examination problem and at the same time which may be the courses of School social function.
