Resumen

El artículo se centra en dos de los principales roles de la adultez y en las relaciones que se establecen entre ellos. En concreto se exploran las conexiones entre la calidad percibida de las relaciones conyugales y los procesos de evaluación de la maternidad y la paternidad, referidos tanto al propio desempeño como padre o madre como al de la pareja. Los resultados reflejan la existencia de estas relaciones, e igualmente indican que éstas varían principalmente en función del sexo del progenitor y, en menor medida, del hecho de que la mujer trabaje fuera del hogar o no lo haga.
