Résumé

In this article we bring into light the Pleistocene deposit identified as "Cueva del Grajo II" (Rook's Cave II) in Priego de Córdoba, after his casual discovery in the summer of 2002, during the labours carried out in the quarry with the same name. In January 2003 several actions took place in this deposit to evaluate its potentialities and characteristics and to secure its future preservation. "Cueva del Grajo" can be defined, at least in the present accessible part, as a small size cavity, overflowed completely by red crumbly breaches, in which significant amount of animal bone remains have been found (bovine, equine, cervine, carnivorous - feline, ursine -, etc.). These have been dated (Th/U) between 166 and 155 ka (without + error), that place them in the isotope cold stage or Middle-Late Pleistocene.
