Resum

A scarce ostracofaune was found in the southern bassin of the Venice lagoon. Nine species were recognized, well distributed in the inner channel mouths (Cyprideis torosa and Loxoconcha elliptica), external border of the "barenes" (Ctorosa) and near the Chioggia harbour (C. torosa and Pontocythere túrbida). The morphological features and distribution of P. túrbida and Pontocythere elongata, a atlantic species, were compared.
