El liderazgo del profesorado en las organizaciones educativastemáticas para su análisis e investigación

Resumen

Este trabajo se ocupa de reivindicar el papel del liderazgo del profesorado como un componente sustantivo en el funcionamiento de las organizaciones educativas. A partir de la revisión del concepto de liderazgo educativo y su puesta en práctica en estos contextos, el trabajo traza un mapa por el que justificar no sólo la presencia sino también la pertinencia del liderazgo del profesorado como un indicador de salud democrática y de mejora de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, en general, en el seno de la institución escolar. Concretando ciertos aspectos relacionados con esta idea de asociar el liderazgo al colectivo docente, el artículo señala algunas temáticas propias del funcionamiento de los centros que requieren análisis y reflexión: condiciones de trabajo, toma de decisiones; desarrollo profesional y mejora de la organización, incorporando a lo largo del discurso algunas ideas para poder seguir explorando este mapa desde el punto de vista de la investigación.
