Abstract

For several years, the evaluation of quality in the different fields of university education constitutes a sign of self-criticism and progress. Concern for the development of a maximum level in teaching quality has acquired maximum relevance because of the imminent arrival of the European convergence process. The analysis that we carry out below, on the quality in the objective tests of Physiotherapy, responds to a series of reflections on the following hypotheses: Are the objective tests correctly used in the evaluation of learning by students of Physiotherapy? ; Are we aware of the bias involved in the evaluation of learning, the use of objective tests as the sole means of evaluation? The calculation of parameters such as the difficulty index of an item or its discrimination index allows us to obtain deeper information about the validity of the items in the objective tests. Once the test is analyzed, a critical reflection exercise is necessary to enable the execution of subsequent improvement actions in the evaluation process
