Resumo
This study analyses the structure and characteristics of the natural resources of social support in andalucians older people. The study was conducted in a sample of 101 persons aged 65 over at residential facilities and seniors centers. We present data from size, composition and multiplicity of the social support networks. The results reveal social networks in aged maintain their functions; while family ties appeared to be particularly important
