Abstract
Available data on sociodemographic changes of spanish families show that, similary to other countries, spanish actual context features significatively by diversity in family structure. The article is a reflection on the need to asume the concept of family within diversity. It also summarizes the results of different studies that have explored the degree of acceptance of those non-traditional families.
