Abstract

Educational Guidance Teams are the central axis in the development and promotion of an inte- grative and personalised education. $is study analyses the variables relative to the initial and continuous training the Teams receive, based on the changes the information society is causing across the entire educational environment, and hence in educational guidance. On the one hand University study plans offer initial training to provide future professionals with educational guidance of sufficient calibre to enable them to exercise their profession; on the other, Govern- ment bodies impart training modules to reinforce and update this training. $is work examines the perceptions of teaching professionals by means of a questionnaire and group discussion as ins- truments for gathering information, drawing us closer to the day-to-day reality that conditions the working of these Guidance Support Services in centres in the province of Huelva (Spain), offering lines and proposals for improvement.
