Abstract

With the aim of exploring the relationship between University exams and the overall state of health of students, various questionnaires were handed out to a simple of 113 physics students at three different stages: April (before the exam period), June (at the height of the exam period) and July-August (summer vacation). Significant differences were found between these three times regarding the informants' state of health, maximum deterioration being registered in June and the minimum in July-August. Other stress factors outside academic life were examined. No significant differences were found related to sex, year of studies, socioeconomic level or academic record.
