Abstract
The botellon is a very important social phenomenon started by young people during the nigth of the weekend leading to a conflict of interests among the youth and the adult world. Refering to botellon became fashionable in the media for sometime, especially when neighbourhoods were disturbed. But despite the fact that a lot has been writen on the topic, information is sparse. There are hardly and social studies on the subject. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to supply with direct data on the botellon on the city of Huelva, to analyze the key aspects that explain and give meaning and to compare it with similar studies. This work was developed using a survey in the area of the botellon in the city of Huelva and its results were compared with two similar studies that developed the same methodology and which results were very similar.
