Abstract

The systematic integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) via mass computer installation in the classroom for student use in the teaching-learning process is increasingly evident in today�s schools. This is the result of institutional policies one of which was applied to �ICT centers� in the region of Andalucia. This work, supported by the Ministry of Education as an R&D project, suggests the need to assess the impact on teaching of these new resources as a part of a strategy to make these policies more effective. Based on a sample of 16 primary and secondary school centres in the eight provinces of Andalucia, the multiple methodology yields results from the analysis of the didactic processes generated in the classroom from the standpoint of the new roles of the teacher and their teaching strategies
