Abstract
In this paper we present and edit a genealogy of the Lords of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Counts of Niebla and Dukes of Medina Sidonia, developed in 1702 by Luis de Salazar y Castro, one of the most important Spanish genealogists. We also analyze the connections between this text and other Salazar�s writings about the Guzmán lineage.
