Abstract

Fishes, Mollusca and Foraminifera were studied in two sections of the Neogene of Niebla (Huelva). Three parts were recognized 1) grey clays 2) a level of glauconite silts 3) levels of accumulation with sandy intercalations. 15 new taxas of Fishes were determined, for the Neogene of Huelva. Fish assemblages indicate species of tropical/subtropical thermal distribution, that are shore-neritic and that have a predominance of benthic species. Mollusca and Foraminifera asemblages reflect a progressively more shallow marine environment of inner shelf.
