Hacia la corresponsabilidad mediante la suspensión por nacimiento de hijos

With this work we intend to make a first analysis of the new regulation on the suspension of the contract for the birth of children, adoption, guardianship or foster care. The RD-Ley 6/2019 has led to an important evolution of Spanish legislation on this matter, which ceases to be a mere regulation on reconciliation of family and work life and approaches the objective of co-responsibility between parents in the face of family responsibilities. The objective pursued is positive, however, this regulation is not an example of technical quality, so there are important questions of interpretation that are analyzed by the author.
