Resumen

The depositional facies and parasequences of the Sant Marti Xic high stand depositional system are characterized. The interna/ structure of the system is controlled by these parasequences: thin transgressive facies with erosional bases, and progradational regressive facies. Finally, a comparison between the internal structure of the system described here and the seismic stratigraphy based model for high stand progradational systems is stablished.
