Abstract

This study aims to analyse the publishing strategies used and received by the sons of poets when they commit to printing their father’s work, through two specific cases. From the author`s perspective, Eugenio de Salazar gives precise instructions on the textual conformation of “Silva de poesía”. From his heir’s publishing perspective, Pedro de Faria takes charge of Manuel’s textual legacy, whose work he will edit or reprint in Portugal after his death.
