Abstract

Results from alead isotopic content research on a sector of the Almonte-Marismas aquifer are presented. A strawberry irrigation farming has been introduced on the studied sector. The lowest value of isotopic rate 208Pb/206Pb and 206Pb/207Pb detected in a sampling point are interpreted as the natural isotopic content of the sector, that is to say unaffected by anthropogenic contamination. On the contrary, highest values may be associated to high contents of nitrates, lead, beryllium and other elements from the agriculture activities.
