Resumen

The Iberian Pyrite Belt has features of thin-skinned type tectonics. Upper Devonian sediments and younger volcanic rocks overthrust Middle Visean flysch of Culm facies. In this paper we have analysed carefully the minor structures related to the propagation of the foreland vergent thrust systems, in a cross-section near San Bartolomé de la Torre in the province of Huelva. Leading anticlines/syncline pair generated in the thrust sheet over a ramp have been transported by thrust that has broken through onto an upper flat. These structures have been linked to the propagation of regional thrust in the "El Andévalo" area, during the Middle Visean-Late Carboniferous age.
