Abstract

The thesis is aimed at promoting myth tourism in the province of Huelva and for this one the main myths of the province are discussed. This one is done in the absence of myth tourism in the province of Huelva. The thesis also speaks of heritage and neomithologies, which are modern myths, has been tried to be complete and cover the subject with depth. A scientific part is done to evaluate the viability of myth tourism in Huelva. The objectives are varied and range from general to specific. The general objective is: is the use of myth tourism profitable? The specific objectives are: -Would income increase or not using tourism myths? -Would it increase the quality of the tourism resource? Is it necessary or not the recruitment of animation staff for the resource and its number? -What is the profile of the visitor and other aspects related to market segmentation? Is Augmented Reality necessary in the resource? Is it necessary to create a catalog of myths in Huelva in order to be made available to public tourist institutions and tourist guides? Is the recreation of the Tartessian village profitable in a specific area of Huelva? TAM (Technological Acceptance Model) has been used to evaluate the surveys, it has been used experimentally to be a technological method, although in myth tourism there is technology. And TPB (Theory of planned behavior) to do it in another specific survey that if it is designed to evaluate myth tourism as such. The thesis addresses two research routes to verify the options of myth tourism objectives: TAM and TPB. Although TAM was not made specifically for it, it is done experimentally, although in myth tourism there is technology that can be used for it. The results of benefits of the tourism exploitation of myths in Huelva are not quantified but it can be concluded that the expectations are good, there are objectives that have not been raised in the surveys but can be deduced from the results of the other items. The patrimonial and myth aspects of the thesis in depth have also been approached with special attention to the neomithologies. The thesis aims to be a guide to be able to launch the project of a sustainable myth tourism in Huelva.
