Zusammenfassung

On the topic of creativity, much has been discussed and researched, and its importance is acknowledged in many fields of study, but we cannot consider it a new topic. Creativity has been the target for numerous studies since the early fifties by psychologists like Guilford and Torrance, as well as many others (Esquivias, 2004). Yet, still today, it remains a mystery to many, involving myth and enlightenment, even though research has shown otherwise. Creativity is an essential part of artistic creation. This study, in the field of educational research, aims to analyse and understand the creative process in order to help students with their creative results. To this end, the research was conducted in two universities, from two different countries and continents, within majors related essentially to creativity in artistic fields. The data collected from this study led to the construction and validity of a Creative Process Assessment Scale, and to the conclusions presented in this thesis.
