Abstract
Synopsis of the PhD. Thesis of Toscano (2016) who studies marine vertebrates from the Neogene of the province of Huelva (SW of Spain), in the passive margin of the Guadalquivir basin. They have been analyzed and described almost 6000 fossils belonging to 115 taxa, including Holocephalans, Chondrichthyes, Osteichthyes, Sea Turtles, Birds, Mysticetes and Odontocetes Cetaceans and Pinnipeds. Deduces paleoenvironmental conditions and defines the evolution of coastal and marine ecosystems of the region during the Late Neogene.
