Abstract

Abstract Spanish Ratification of the learning climate questionnaire and study of the dimensionality of the sports motivation scale adapted to the physical education. Motivacional profiles and predictive models of the importance of the physical education (PE) and intention of physical activity in free time. In the present work we appear the need to use tools validated to be able to evaluate the education - learning process in Physical Education in secondary, the knowledge of the motivational profiles towards the practice of the physical activity in the free time and its relation with the teaching work and experience in our classes. TARGETS: 1. Spanish validate and to the Physical Education, in secondary school, the scale Learning Climate Questionnaire (LCQ) to evaluate the support to the autonomy. 2. To contribute evidences on the dimensionality of the Spanish version of the SMS adapted to the Physical education in a sample of adolescent students of secondary education by means of confirmatory procedures . 3. To know if some prediction exists among the support to the autonomy , the motivation and the intention of practice of physical-sports activity . 4.To know if some prediction exists among the support to the autonomy ,the motivation, the intrinsic satisfaction and the importance of the Physical Education 5. To analyze the motivational profiles of the students of secondary education in Physical Education and the inclusion in the sameones of the support to the autonomy, satisfaction, importance and utility, as well as the intention of future practice of physical activity. METHODOLOGY The investigation design has been of not experimental , sectional and descriptive type . A whole of 758 pupils (347 men ; 411 women ) from 7 centers of secondary education of the Region of Murcia participated. The instruments to measure the different variables ( Learning Climate Questionaire and Sports Motivation Scale ) were administered in the classroom , without assistance of the teacher and in the presence of the investigator . The work was carried out between May and June , 2012, every participant had approximately one hour to complete the questionnaires. CONCLUSIONS Target 1. The use of the LCQ-EF is endorsed, since it turns out to be coherent both in the academic and sports fields. Although both models presented satisfactory fitting criterion indexes, the results obtained by the model of 14 items improve those of that of 15 items, in the only hypothetical factor according to the origin theory. It remains demonstrated that the LCQ-EF is a valid and trustworthy instrument to evaluate the support climate to the autonomy that the PE students perceive by their teachers in its Spanish version. To emphasize the utility of this scale for the teachers, so much in the creation of climate of learning as in that of motivational climates, and the after effect of these in the students. Target 2. Although three models or versions exist in spanish language of the SMS adapted to the PE (3, 5, and 7 factors), the three might apply themselves perfectly, although this investigation suggests to recommend for this subject, the model of 7 factors. Target 3. The importance of the support is revealed to the autonomy and of the influence of this one in the future intention of physical practice in free time across the autodetermined motivation. This is excellent for the promotion of an active life style between the adolescents, where the PE subject has a very active role. Emphasizing the influence that these results can have in the progress of the public health. Target 4. The support to the autonomy influences the intention of practice of physical exercise in free time . The importance granted to the PE among the adolescent students is related to autodetermined profiles or of high motivation , as well as to a major number of hours of sports practice in free time. And so, the subject of PE and the teachers that take charge of the same one have a very active role in this situation . The information of the present study is very important facing the preparation of the professorship and the organization of the teaching at methodological level . Target 5. The pupils with higher motivation are those who practise more physical activity and, therefore, the ones who have more possibilities of acquisition and adhesion of habits of sports practice in free time.
