Resumen

Permian volcanic rocks of Souk Sebt Ait Ikkou, Khellata Bouterhela basins of the hercynian central Morocco have calc-alkaline character. The geochemical data shows the enriched character of the subcontinental mantle by crustal components probably in relationship with an ancient event of subduction (Panafrican?). The introduction of a crustal component is evident as attested by the low values of the Ce/Pb and Nb/U ratios. The studied Permian volcanism is chemically similar and probably cogenetic to the majority of Late Hercynian granites of Morocco and also correlated to the first calc-alkaline orogenic cycle (lower Permian?) of the west Mediterranean, related to subduction and active continental margins zones.
