Abstract
In keeping with a society increasingly globalized XXI century , stakeholders show a progressive demand for business initiatives that allow the tourism sector profitability is measured, increasingly, in sustainability criteria and under a triple bottom line : economic , social and environmental . Moreover, at present, an increasing number of companies consider the importance of social responsibility and have become aware of their contribution to sustainable development promote economic growth and increase competitiveness. Thus the interest for integration of CSR in processes and management of tourism enterprises in general and the hotel in particular is increasingly one of the major challenges facing these business organizational. Therefore, using the methodology of multiple case study, we show the main implications and changes that have faced renowned Spanish hotel companies that have made the decision to follow a model of socially responsible management.
