Abstract
This book, conceived as a tribute to Prof. Antonio Ramírez de Verger on the occasion of his retirement, contains a brief outline of his academic career, a complete list of his publications and a wide selection of his articles, reviews and book chapters published over four decades. These writings examine a variety of authors, such as Fronto, Corippus, Maximianus, Tibullus, Horace, Virgil, Tacitus, Catullus, Propertius, Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda, Ovid and Martial, and they also include contributions on various philological topics.
