Résumé

This paper presents a research focused on preservice Primary teachers’ knowledge aboutuncertainty. The answers to two questions from a questionnaire of 90 students of PrimaryTeacher Degree at University of Huelva have been analyzed. They had not receivedtraining in probability in the Degree. The results show that future teachers associaterandomness with drawing mechanisms, in an equiprobable context, although they do notmaster basic rules of probability calculation. Besides, while they are unable to assignuncertainty measures to unknown events, they are capable of weighing partialinformation about everyday contexts, allowing them to make subjective statements ofprobability. The results suggest to include the subjectivist approach in their training.
