Resum
Although Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) is a part of the ERP software packages, it is characterized by low levels of implementation due to the process of calculation. This has led us to develop a technical planning capacity alternative to CRP. The new technique simplifies CRP and improves the likelihood of compliance in some cases. All this is complemented by the development of a low requirement software computer application, which facilitates its implementation. In this sense, the program developed can be applied in settings where MRP is used and it offers the necessary tools for estimation of random variables, developing planning capacity in the short term and the anticipation of the lead times, all of them in a single software application,.
