Abstract

The present article explore the necessity of formation and orientation of the immigrant parents that usually arises when they participate in the educative centers in which their children are involved. First, the importance of immigrant families cooperation is emphasized, then main investigations on this subject are commented and it is summarized the type and level of scholastic participation than, in general, assume the immigrant parents. Also, the knowledge that these families usually have on the scholastic culture and the operation and organization of the Spanish educative centers is observed, emphasizing the more important necessities of orientation that these parents show on the matter.
