The sample is formed by 202 students of both sexes from different degrees in the University of Huelva. For Two instruments of evaluation are used in order to carry out the research: the «Questionnaire on the perception of the efficiency in the academic performance of the three basic teaching methods for the development of professional competence» (created for the accomplishment of this investigation) and the «Revised Inventory of Personality NEO (NEO PI-R)» (Costa and Mccrae, 1999). The results show positive correlations between the perception of academic performance and the teaching methdology of teamwork, as well as between the perception of academic performance and the dimensions of personality of Amiability and Responsibility.
