Résumé

The Innovation Systems Approach emphasizes the idea of interdependence between the different elements that generates innovation. Between these elements, firms �that is, the entrepreneurial sub-system� is especially important for the analysis since they finally introduce the innovations. In this work our objective is analyzing the differences between the entrepreneurial sub-systems in two different innovation models, Middle-Europe and Mediterranean using data from Community Innovation Survey 4 (CIS 4). Our results show remarkable differences between them.
