Abstract
There are several researches examining the relationship between factors or personality dimensions and different areas of development. This paper seeks to know the perception of participants at the influence that certain features of personality have their development: discusses how consider participants bipolar characteristics of extraversion/intraversion and agradabilidad/desagradabilidad, influence emotional and social development areas (in time). This work fits into the evolutionary perspective of the life cycle. From this paradigm personality surveys have concentrated, mainly at the stage of adulthood. This line has used a sample whose participants are aged 22-92 years are over the age of the study. Possible difficulties in the analysis of data, as a result of such a broad age range, have minimized grouping sample in three categories or intervals participants by age: early adulthood or youth, intermediate adult or mature, late Middle age or old age. To carry out this study, made use of Inventory Interrelations Personality with Vital Events and Referents Social (Clemente, 1994).
